Alex Caemmerer, owner and photographer/author, has been a yearly
visitor to Key West, Florida ,studying and photographing the nineteenth
century houses in the historic district of the island city. He was stationed
there during the mid-1950's in the US Navy as a physician and became intrigued
by its unique architecture.
He has produced a series of 18 postcards, 4 note cards, a poster, and finally,
a book of 70 colored photographs with a text on nineteenth century American domestic
architecture and that of the historic district of Key West.
All of these images are available in various sizes and are highly suitable for
framing for use as decorative items in the home, office, restaurants, and other
public spaces.
